Independent Website Solutions is an Australian business helping small businesses, coaches and organisations build a professional and trustworthy presence online. Founded from years of hands-on experience with websites and online business, we combine practical digital experience with a genuine understanding of the challenges business owners face online.
Our Story
Independent Website Solutions grew naturally from years of building websites, managing WordPress platforms and running businesses online.
Our founder, Adele Grobler, first entered the online world through her own businesses. What began as learning how websites and digital platforms worked became an area of expertise and eventually led to helping other businesses with their online presence.
Along the way, she saw many of the same challenges repeatedly. Business owners had websites they didn’t fully understand or control, were paying for services they weren’t sure they needed, or had websites that looked good but weren’t supporting their business as well as they could.
Independent Website Solutions grew from a desire to do things differently, with a focus on trust, ownership and long-term relationships.

Before moving into the online business world, Adele worked as a veterinarian and later within the corporate veterinary industry.
That background developed an approach that remains part of IWS today: understand the problem, look beyond the obvious symptoms and find practical solutions.
Running online businesses also means we’ve faced many of the same decisions our clients face.
We’ve built and managed websites, online communities, memberships, eCommerce, content and business systems. So when we look at a website, we don’t only see the technology.
